Multiday Tours

We offer multiday birding tours between the months of January and April. These tours are a great way to experience birding in the tropics while still having time to relax at superb beachfront accommodations. Our tour packages include all accommodations, meals and in country transportation, including a short flight from San Jose direct to the Tambor airport where we will be waiting for a short transfer to the Tambor Tropical Hotel.

Our multiday tours are unique in Costa Rica in being based primarily out of one area, with short day trips to new and diverse locations. We keep the group size small at a maximum of 8 people and limit the time traveling, maximizing the time spent birding and enjoying the areas wildlife and natural setting. Our itineraries allow for time to relax and enjoy additional activities or go birding on the local trails that connect the accommodations. Our tours also include a trip to the cloud forests of Monteverde or the lowland rainforests of the Carribean slope. This maximizes the diversity and species seen while still maintaining a relaxed and comfortable pace.
